Milestones

1950 Founded by Mr. YAM Cheong Hung as a small printing shop in Central, Hong Kong.
1958 Among the first in Hong Kong to introduce offset printing. Diversified into printing and manufacturing of paper and carton boxes.
1966 Established Tai Hing Paper Products Company, Ltd., to begin corrugated board and corrugated carton manufacturing.
1970 Branched further into paper trading by setting up Sun Hing Paper Co. Ltd.
1989 Moved to a -built plant in Tai Po Industrial Estate, Hong Kong, to meet expansion needs.
1992 Listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong to raise funds for further business development.
1993 Established presence in the China market by entering into a 51%-owned joint venture in Zhongshan, China. Shareholding increased to 56% in 1998.
1994 Actively expanded production capacity and setting up a wholly-owned plant in Shenzhen, China.
1995 Spearheaded into recycled paper manufacturing in Zhongshan, China, through a 35% joint venture.
2000
Established new plant for children's books in Shenzhen, China.
2002 Invested over US$30million to establish the packaging material base in Wuxi
2007 Heshan plant came into operation, which brought the total production space up to 5.7million square feet.
2008 New joint venture with Graphic Packaging International to capture China's demand for beverage carrier packs.
2010 Celebrated our 60th year anniversary!
2011 Commenced a new partnership with Rengo who became a 29.9% shareholder of Hung Hing in August 2011.
