New Appointment at Hung Hing
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard Lim as Commercial
Director of Hung Hing Offset Printing. In this capacity Richard will be based in Hong Kong and is responsible for all sales and marketing of the division's products including conventional and children's books, novelty items and rigid and litho lam packaging. Silver Award from Investors in People
Hung Hing UK is delighted to have achieved the Silver Award from Investors in People this summer. Continuous improvement is part of the culture within Hung Hing UK and our core values of integrity and professionalism are extremely important to the organisation and drive the way it operates, not only within the team, but also with customers. Having taken on board the suggestions highlighted in the last IIP report in 2008, we have made numerous changes within the organisation using the Investors in People Standard as a framework. This had led to improvement in performance of the organisation through a well-motivated, and skilled team and resulted in the successful achievement of the Silver Award. Next step – Gold!

EU Toy Directive
The new EU Toy Directive came into force on 20th July 2011 (with chemical requirements to follow two years later). This affects products coming into Europe for the use in play of children under the age of 14. Along with Conformity Declarations and Safety Assessment procedures, requirements include holding Technical Files for titles and also ensuring that appropriate traceability / contact details and warning / CE markings are evident. Hung Hing have been making necessary preparations to obtain required data in order to effectively deal with enquiries for information. These include helping to compile Bill Of Materials (BOM's) when requested by our customers for their Technical Files. Please contact your Account Manager for further information.
